ROUGE” is a collective work that gives voice to the human experience of blood cancers.

Led by Professor Emmanuel Gyan, hematologist at Tours University Hospital, in collaboration with composer and producer Olivier Loeb, this unique project brings together healthcare professionals, patients, associations, and industry partners around a shared ambition: to tell the story of the disease differently, alongside those who live with it.

By partnering with this project, the Leukemia Institute affirms its commitment to a more human, sensitive, and innovative approach to the management of blood cancers.

The lyrics of the songs are directly inspired by patients’ testimonies and their exchanges with healthcare teams, and highlight the unique relationship that develops between them.

Ultimately, this project will bring together 11 music videos, patient and healthcare professional testimonials, a behind-the-scenes account of the album’s creation, and content shared on social media, in hospitals, and at events.

  • Raise public awareness of the human realities of blood cancers
  • Give a voice to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Express gratitude to those who support patients in their daily experience of the disease
  • Create connections between the hospital setting and society
Mobilize stakeholders around Septembre Rouge, the month dedicated to awareness of hematological cancers
