Two days rich in discussions, which provided an opportunity to reflect on the construction of our Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire by identifying the concrete needs of the teams.

On the agenda:

  • A presentation by Hugues de Thé, Director of the Institute, on the major achievements of 2024–2025 and future perspectives.
  • Presentations of ongoing projects by Matthieu Duchmann, Marie de Tersant, Yannick Simoni, Kevin Rouault-Pierre, and reflections on future collaborations between teams.
  • Inspiring experience-sharing sessions by Laurent Degos on translational research and by Olivier Hermine on start-up creation.
  • A strategic reflection on data valorization, led by Lionel Adès and Matthieu Duchmann, in order to identify how to better integrate clinico-biological information to accelerate scientific advances, with valuable input from Nicolas Garcelon (Institut Imagine).
  • Discussions on the structuring of bioinformatics led by Camille Lobry and Christophe Antoniewski, as well as on the sharing of experimental models by Diana Passaro and Françoise Pflumio.

This retreat was a key moment to take stock, strengthen connections, and build a shared vision of research within the Leukemia Institue.
