Winner Leukemia Institute Prize

Nicolas Duployez, PharmD, PhD, Associate Professor of Hematology and Molecular Biology at the University of Lille and Lille University Hospital, is the recipient of the inaugural Leukemia Institute Prize.

His research focuses on the characterization of genetic alterations, the study of clonal heterogeneity, and the improvement of prognostic classification in acute leukemias, particularly through genetic risk stratification. His work is conducted at the Lille Cancer Research Center (Inserm U1366 – PERSTIM team).

“My research aims to bridge the gap between genomic discoveries and their clinical application in acute leukemias,” explains Nicolas Duployez.

The jury recognized the excellence of his research and its major contribution to advancing our understanding of leukemia.

His work paves the way for the development of more personalized therapeutic approaches for patients.

He will present his findings at the Leukemia Institute Symposium, to be held on September 28–29 at the Collège de France in Paris, where he will officially receive the Leukemia Institute Prize.
